Beirut Madinati - 40% is nothing to party about.


Finally some sense among the hormones! Thank you Mustafa. Here's some basic math: Madinati got 40% of the elections (and everyone is happy!), but they got 40% out of 20% who voted - meaning they got 8% of the electorate and that is counting very heavy turn out for Beirut Madinati, and a very low on for their opponents - the "status quo" people. So if more people showed up to vote for their parties, or political leaders, the win for the usual suspects would have been a landslide! Nothing to party about.
